Where to start ↓If you’ve only ever known a god of fear, grace will sound almost too good at first.
Most of us were handed a version of God who was never quite satisfied. Do more. Try harder. Hope it’s enough. That god keeps a record, and you always come up short.
That is not the God Jesus revealed. The whole of Scripture, read through the New Covenant, says one thing: the work is finished. Your standing before God was never built on your performance. It was settled at the cross and handed to you as a gift.
So everything here starts with who you already are in Christ, not what you have to become. Identity before impact. Rest before effort. Grace all the way down.
